Mim Grey
Best known for being “the most beautiful voice to come out of the UK in a long time”, Mim Grey is a one-of-a-kind singer-songwriter born and raised in North London. With her rootsy soulful heart-on-sleeve songs, Mim has earned accolades from some of the most distinguished names in British show biz such as Tom Jones, Paul McCartney, Terry Wogan and Paul O’Grady.
Her self-titled debut album “Grey Matters” recorded at Tito Jackson’s ‘House Of Blues Studio’ in LA, received critical acclaim, described as “a fusion of Joni, James Taylor and John Mayer”
Mim Grey then brought her band to the iconic ‘Pinewood Studios’ in Bucks UK to record the 2nd album ‘Chasing Tigers’ which had over 200 plays on BBC Radio 2, the lead single going to N0.1 in the Nashville hot disk charts.
Embraced by press and music fans alike, Mim released Xmas Kiss which was on the BBC Radio 2 Christmas playlist and is featured in the film ‘Foster’ starring Richard E Grant and Toni Collette.
Xmas Kiss won the UK Christmas song of the year and went to No. 1 in the UK Country charts 2021 and No. 5 in Nashville.
Mim Grey released her 3rd album ‘Garden Of Me’ Sept 2024 produced by Mim’s idol Robbie McIntosh (The pretenders, Paul McCartney, John Mayer, Norah Jones)… which in Mim’s own words ”was a magical experience” with the lead single reaching N0.1 in the UK country charts and Robbie joining Mim and her band on some of the UK tour shows.
Mim is currently working on her fourth album (yet to be titled)…..Watch this space !!
